From literary fiction to crime writing, with lots of inspiring first-hand experiences and something new to learn along the way, we've got it all covered.
There’s plenty happening for children and families as well as a special evening of entertainment at Castle Cornet, wonderful poetry readings, historical and business talks too.
We also have a host of one-to-ones and workshops, so if you are a writer yourself – or want to be – there is plenty to help you with the process.
Guernsey was where Victor Hugo wrote his epic novel Les Misérables, and David Bellos will explore its relevance today. We’re delighted that Jean Baptiste, Marie and Laura Hugo will be coming to talk about their illustrious ancestor.
We've even thought of sports fans as well as music, film and art lovers, remaining true to our belief that ‘It’s not just a book thing’!
We simply couldn’t have a festival without our team of wonderful volunteers – if you have helped out before we hope you will join us again, and if you’d like to find out more about volunteering for the first time please click below for more information. We promise not to overload you – many hands make light work!
