Special Request from D-Lab's own Iliana Lopez
Hello everyone! My name is Iliana Lopez, I'm a second year intended Psychology major, and I have been working at the D-Lab since 2015. I'm currently conducting a research project for my Psychology 10 course, and I would really appreciate your help with data collection. D-Lab and Digital Humanities Blogger Position
Are you a passionate writer, with a creative eye and love for all things data? If so, we’d love to hear from you! D-Lab is looking for a UC Berkeley graduate student, for the position of a blog and grant writer who can support both the D-Lab and Digital Humanities in keeping their respective blogs active and also helping with grant applications. Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon
Join UC Libraries in filling the gap of content caused by a lack of female participation on Wikipedia by dopping in 405 Moffitt Undergraduate Library on Tuesday, March 21 from 1:00pm-6:00pm for an all day communal updating of Wikipedia entries. Tutorials and refreshments will be provided and all are free to stop by for as long or as little as desired. More info here!

Laura Nelson is a a postdoctoral fellow at Digital Humanities @ Berkeley and the Berkeley Institute for Data Science, on leave from her position as Assistant Professor in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern. Laura provides consulting in digital humanities, Python, scikit-learn, NLTK, pandas, tm, matplotlib, BeautifulSoup, R (stm), natural language processing, supervised machine learning, and unsupervised machine learning.
