Update

With the passage of the Measure K extension last November, San Mateo County is committed to allocating more dollars for housing.

Eleven city and town councils, plus the Board of Supervisors and the City/County Association of Governments have adopted a resolution supporting the Home for All Initiative and are engaged in closing the jobs/housing gap.

Resolutions have been adopted by Belmont, Burlingame, Colma, East Palo Alto, Half Moon Bay, Hillsborough, Pacifica, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Carlos and San Mateo. In the upcoming months, Brisbane, Menlo Park, San Bruno, and South San Francisco will consider the resolution.

Resources

The Task Force brought together a group of community leaders and problem solvers in a year long process to find solutions for the County's housing and transportation challenges.

Rather than producing a report, the Task Force designed & developed tools to move us forward:
The materials are available to everyone. Start the conversation with your colleagues friends & neighbors today.

Get Involved

Home for All wants to increase the number of community members actively working to close the jobs/housing gap. Together we can make San Mateo County Home for All by:
  • Inviting Amanda Orozco and the Home for All Team to make a presentation.
  • Attending workshops where you will learn how to engage in productive conversations about the jobs/housing gap and how it can be reduced. See the Home for All website for workshop dates and times.
  • Visiting the Home for All website at www.homeforallsmc.org to learn more.
