*If you could change one thing about your church, what improvement would you make?
*What are the core values that should always remain the same in your church?

This week in our Going Rogue series, we will focus on anger and how it can destroy us from within, as well as injure people and things around us. The reality is that many good people lose control of their anger, and the results have varying degrees of consequence. Students will discuss how anger most often creates a negative mark on the person, thing, or situation it’s being directed toward. By understanding our responsibility to appropriately handle our feelings, we can be better equipped to focus on God when we feel angry or disappointed.
Look for a chance to talk with your teenager this week. Here are some questions that can get the conversation going:
- What are some examples of how individuals have hurt the people they love by not being able to control their anger?
- What are some things that we can do instead of responding badly from our anger?
- Think about the last time you really got angry. You don’t have to share all the details, but were you pleased or disappointed by your response? Why?
