Hawks Family of Restaurants ~ March Newsletter


As we were driving up the road today, I felt compelled to direct my attention to the local strawberry stand. It was as if my internal clock knew that strawberries should soon be coming. Sadly, there were no strawberries today, but our kitchens are full of other lively Spring ingredients...asparagus, green garlic, english peas, fava beans and earthy morels. In order to preserve the vibrant green colors, we find ourselves leaning towards gentle cooking methods and our dishes naturally lighten up as we move towards summer. Whether it's asparagus beignets or braised morels, we hope you'll enjoy these ephemeral gems with us! And don't forget...enjoy your patio dining before it heats up!

ST. PATRICK'S DAY
It's St. Patrick's Day and it's a Friday; there's no excuse not to celebrate this year! In honor of this fine holiday, we will be serving traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage at both Hawks and Hawks Provisions + Public House. And for lunch, Corned Beef sandwiches of course! For those of you on the go in Sacramento, stop by and pick up sandwich in Provisions!

EASTER IN GRANITE BAY
We hope that you and your family enjoy the Easter Brunch and Dinner menus we've put together for Hawks in Granite Bay. We will be serving Easter Brunch from 10:00 - 2:00pm and Easter Dinner from 4:00 - 8:00pm. In addition to our prix fixe menus, we will have a special menus for our guests 12 and under and we certainly welcome families!  For reservations at Hawks Granite Bay, please call 916.791.6200.

EASTER AT PUBLIC HOUSE
For those of you looking to celebrate Easter in the city, we will be serving Easter Brunch and Dinner at Hawks Provisions + Public House. Our Easter Brunch will begin with a family style offering of Artisan Pastries and Salmon Rillette, followed by a choice of entree and dessert. Our four-course Easter dinner menu begins with an English Pea Puree and Spring Vegetable Crudite. We will have an a la carte menu for children 12 and under. To reserve, please call 916.588.4440.

SUNDAY SUPPERS AT HAWKS
Each Sunday, we welcome guests to in Granite Bay for a Sunday Supper with comforting favorites from Skuna Bay Salmon to Fried Chicken. Our Sunday Suppers bring friends and family together and offer a relaxing way to wind down the weekend! For this one night, we prepare a four course menu priced at $45 per guest and we hope to welcome you in soon if you haven't made it in to join us yet. We're thrilled to be a part of the 10th annual Pebble Beach Food & Wine event, happening April 20-23, 2017. Chef Mike Fagnoni will team with Fabio Viviani  of Los Angeles and Chicago fame for an Italian-influenced menu at Casa Palmero on Friday, April 21 from 12- 2:30pm. Tickets on sale now!
