Heard County Community Partnership, Inc.
Collaborative Coordinator
Heard County Community Partnership, Inc. is a county collaborative organization that works together to improve conditions for children and families in Heard county as part of the statewide Georgia Family Connection network. The governing body is seeking an individual to provide planning, facilitation, communication, and coordination services for the partners participating in this work.
Candidates must have excellent communication and writing skills and assist with the development and implementation of the Collaborative’s annual plan including: conducting an annual data review, staffing monthly Collaborative meetings, and engaging community stakeholders in the work of the Collaborative. The applicant must be able to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
Applicants must be skilled with all components of Microsoft Office (or its equivalent). Social media and basic marketing skills are desired.The applicant must be willing to travel a moderate amount within the state and region and participate in required meetings and trainings. The applicant must also be comfortable working for an executive board.
The applicant will be an employee of Heard County Community Partnership, Inc.

Senate Turns Focus to FY18 Budget
After the Crossover Day rush, legislators slowed their pace a bit, but continued work on major pieces of legislation last week—such as the FY18 budget and HB 338 (Rep. Kevin Tanner, 9th) that addresses low-performing schools.
