Gold medal, NZ Masters 400
This was at the national athletics in Nelson on march 3rd. Says Bruce, “It was a lonely race. I never saw the competition because they were never in front of me. There was a serious head wind to drive us backwards on the home straight. In fact it was so windy that the next guy behind me was hit in the chest by a piece of bill board. He was OK and friends were quick to reassure me that it didn’t slow him down. But it does show how windy it was. Running 400’s keeps me motivated and teaches me what works. And I use it in my pilates classes ”.

Video: don't do a quad stretch like this!
Done proper is ten times better than done poorly. Certainly true of the quad stretch. Doing it in "tall kneeling" is how I teach it so we get it straight. I list a dozen benefits of a good quad stretch. Check out the video here!
