When  you are healthy at your best, that's like what?

I will be exploring this question with a group of like-minded 'Medical Coaches' through the Medical Coaches Online Community. The webinar is open to anyone who would like to join this community. There is a fee for membership and for that you get to participate in 12 webinars per year and have access to many extras resources and recordings. See here for full details of the webinar and the MCLC community.

Interested in attending an in-person event? We are considering repeating the 'Health and Creativity' workshop we ran last year as a weekend retreat here in Devon. Please register your interest if this sounds like your thing.

Here's a reminder of the top tips I shared with you last November on using Clean Language with health and healing:

What does it mean to be healthy? Is there a single version of good health, or does it mean different things to different people, depending on their age, life experience and current circumstances? Could good health  be a subjective experience and would it be valuable to learn more about what your own personal 'picture of good health' looks like? Clean Coaching, incorporating Clean Language, Emergent Knowledge and Clean Space, provides all kinds of ways for exploring that with your coachee to help them build their own powerful anchors for getting in touch with their healthy best. For some, it may open the door to important decisions and practical actions. From my own personal experience, I've seen it work in at least 5 core ways:

1) It helps people find ways to tackle their bad habits that sabotage their health efforts, by uncovering the binding patterns that keep them going around in circles. Clean Coaching, along with a systems thinking approach, helps people identify and alter their negative beliefs, limiting decision, self-fulfilling prophecies and delusions of others.

2) It helps focus attention on what works, developing a stronger relationship between the coachee and how it really feels, sounds, looks and tastes to be at their healthy best.

3) It helps the coachee step off the drama triangle and rather than think of themselves as a patient who is a victim to any health issues, instead they can take responsibility for being the best they can health-wise.

4) It provides a way of tapping into the unconscious mind to explore symptoms and pain for what they really are - messages and signals from another part of yourself. This can help to reframe perceptions about those symptoms and bring about a deeper sense of peace within the coachee.

5) It provides an antidote for the sometimes unhelpful ways that the medical profession may refer to illness and healing in a mechanical and prescriptive fashion. The person can learn more about their own personal healing journey and decide how best to take steps along it, with or without medication to support that.

A big thanks to everyone who has supported me on my journey to create this book. Many members of this newsletter group looked at chapters for me and made suggestions on changes. Plus you have all inspired me by asking questions about clean Coaching and sharing stories about how you've used it.
