Could you be one of our strategic partners?
Youth Music invests in around 350 projects nationwide, supporting personal, social and musical development for children and young people experiencing challenging circumstances. We have three streams to our grants programme: Funds A, B and C. Fund C provides the largest grants, reflecting its aim to expand and embed high quality, inclusive music-making through strategic partnership-working.
We wanted to let you know that we're nearly ready to launch the next round of Fund C. We’ll be re-opening the fund for applications in April 2017, seeking partners to deliver the work from April 2018. The full criteria and guidance notes will be published on the Youth Music Network by mid-April this year, and the deadline for stage one applications will be in mid-June.
We've used our learning from the current Fund C portfolio to revise the criteria and guidance. The new funding round will reflect the changes in the external environment since the first round in 2012, and Youth Music's goal of working towards a musically inclusive England.
There will be a maximum of 15 Fund C grant awards. Applications will be open to any organisations meeting the soon-to-be-published criteria, including current Youth Music grantholders.
We'll be in touch again when the new guidance is published next month.
Best wishes,
Youth Music
