Engineering Jobs - Demand outstrips supply & excellent salary prospects 

Starting salaries for newly qualified engineers are often in the range of €32,000 - €35,000  yet  there are not enough students selecting engineering as a career choice. IT Carlow and WIT offer a comprehensive range of engineering related courses from Level 6 to Level 8 relevant to manufacturing, construction, electronics and other fields and have been busy promoting these during ‘Engineers Week’. Growing Demand for Professionals in   Construction

Eoin Healy from Dungarvan, Co. Waterford qualified with a degree in Construction Management & Engineering in WIT in 2015. He is now Project Engineer with Clancy Construction, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Currently he is based on the site of Facebook’s €200 million Data Centre in Clonee, Co. Meath. Eoin said ‘there is a huge demand for engineers everywhere and especially in Dublin.
