Swaddling Clothes, Inc.: Family ministries is collecting pajamas for Swaddling Clothes, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting underserved families in the Indianapolis Metro area. We are asking for donations for new or very gently used (no stains please) pajamas for infants and toddlers sizes premies to 5T from March 19-April 14. You may drop off your donations in the Family Ministry office in a box labeled "Swaddling Clothes". Our goal is to collect 50 sets of pajamas! After the pajama drive, we will invite all kids and students through high school to wear their pajamas to church on April 30 to demonstrate our desire to help others in our surrounding communities. See Laura Helvie, Amy Hyman, or Laurie Hummel for further information.
Elder/Deacon Nominations: For the next two weeks we will be including a form in the bulletin for nominations of Elders and Deacons. These forms are due back to the office no later than March 26. Please prayerfully consider your nominations of those whom you believe would accept this position.
Updating our Facilities:
As discussed more fully in the current issue of Centerings, a task team is being formed to gather information and make recommendations on how our facilities might be updated to enhance our worship, our ministries and our outreach.
