A Message from Doreen Barkowitz, Director of the Office of Educational Resources and Planning:
On behalf of the Services for Teen at Risk (STAR) Center and the Office of Educational Resources and Planning (OERP), I would like to bring your attention to the “Services for Teens At Risk (STAR) Center’s 30th Year Anniversary Research Symposium - An Update on Suicidal Behavior in Youth:  Causes, Treatment, Prevention” on May 3-4, 2017. The Symposium will held at the University Club, 123 University Place, Pittsburgh, PA.

The Symposium will bring together renown international, national, and local experts and researchers in the field of depression and suicidality to explore and discuss causes of youth suicide, best ways to assess risk, and review the latest evidence-based treatment and prevention approaches. This conference is bringing together the  “who’s who” of this field. It is truly a “STAR” packed lineup on both days.
