Dear Praying Friends,
We finally feel like we have some positive news we want to share. Zinha's adoption process should be back to the court tomorrow, or Thursday. The "child advocate" has written his opinion which supports us adopting Zinha. It seems the judge has been encouraged to hear out all sides of the situation to see why there are conflicting reports-- one positive and one contradicting. We are interested to see how this plays out (since one report has no evidence backing it and we have a huge file disproving it). In addition, Nede is ready to testify how much she needs her sister home and that yes, indeed, we do take good care of her! Pray Nede's brave in this and that she articulates her words well in Portuguese.
We also ask for pray in these areas:
- Pray for justice for those who have been dishonest and have hurt Zinha, again.
- Pray for the court date to be called SOON.
- Pray we'll all be together again, FOREVER! SOON!
- Pray those who are supposed to be helping children will be removed from their role where they are doing harm.
But let justice roll on like a river,
righteousness like a never-failing stream!
