Coding Club / 3-5th Grades

Do you play games and wonder how they are created?  Would you like to build your own computer programs? Come learn how at Coding with Kids Academy!  In this fun after school class, beginners will be introduced to the core concepts of computer programming, including loops, conditionals and variables.  Intermediate students will move on to more advanced concepts, such as nested conditionals and functions with parameters.  Using the Scratch development environment, you will learn how to create a variety of programs, from simple animations to multi-level games.

Art Club / Grades 1-4th
Mondays, 2:15-3:30
Starting April 24th for 6 weeks 
Cost is $146
Join Art Club and explore the creative world of Fashion Illustration! Students will receive a sketchbook for fun drawing exercises of fashion figures, high heeled shoes and a variety of accessories. Students will also learn printmaking and create a custom pattern that will be transformed into a collage, paper purse and they will work on a clothing illustration from head to toe in this fashion forward journey.

Lego Club "STEM Challenge" / Grades 3-5

Starting April 27th for 6 weeks 
Cost is $122
Master your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer- designed projects such as gear cars, gondolas, merry-go-rounds, and scissor lifts! Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment. There is no prerequisite for this course.
