New Zealand and China continued to dominate Australia’s inbound market

New Zealand has remained top of the charts for visitor arrivals to Australia since 2014. Figures for 2016 show an increase of 2.7 percent compared to 2015. Arrivals from China also reported significant growth of 16.9 percent, growing by an average of 19.6 percent each year from 2014 to 2016. Other source markets such as UK, USA, Singapore and Japan also continued to contribute to the growth of the Australian tourism industry.
