Dear Mt. Pisgah family,

When I am asking people what kinds of studies or sermon series they're interested in, prayer is always near the top of the list. We love studying about prayer. All of us believe in prayer and many of you have experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit through prayer. Indeed John Wesley said "God does nothing but by prayer, and everything with it.”
 
We are a praying people.
 
This is why I am excited to share with you the upcoming Bishop's Convocation on Prayer at Trinity United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 1, beginning at 9:00 am. The Bishop's Convocation on Prayer offers wonderful opportunities to deepen your prayer life.

We continue our Not a Fan series by hearing some tough words from Jesus. Christians have struggled with the implications of what Jesus is saying to us. We want to follow Jesus, but we bring a lot of baggage.

The invitation to discipleship is demanding. Are we willing to follow despite the cost?
