As We Forgive @ The Lyric Theatre

7:00pm, March 27, The Lyric Theatre - $5
Could you forgive someone who murdered your friends and family? That's the question faced by two Rwandan women coming face-to-face with the men who slaughtered their families in the 1994 genocide, but were released back into the community due to the enormous backlog of court cases. Can mercy restore what genocide destroyed? Join us at The Lyric Theatre as we present As We Forgive, a documentary film. Cost is $5 (cash preferred). An opportunity for discussion will follow at 130 Jackson.  Watch the trailer and check out our Facebook event page.

Special envelops will be made available April 9 & 16 but please begin praying now how you might support this special effort. For more information on the needs in South Sudan, please check out the ARDF blog  at  http://ardf.org/category/blog/ and join the River Missions Team in prayer for Archbishop  Daniel Deng and courageous leaders such as Bishop Moses working on the front lines of this current crisis.

Youth Ministry

Our youth meet every Tuesday night from 6:30-8:00 at The River's Edge (203 College Avenue, above Souvlaki). Contact Chris@TheRiverNRV.org with any questions!
We're looking for musicians of all types to serve on the music team.  Do you sing, play drums, guitar, cello, hornucopian dronepipe, or anything else?  We'd love for you to use your talents to help others have a richer worship experience at The River.  Talk to Ross Wilsie on Sunday, or email him at ross@therivernrv.org if you're interested!
Church Community Builder (or CCB) is almost like a social network just for The River. CCB functions as a church directory, as a method for volunteer scheduling, and as a tool for group communication, among other things. If you would like to receive a username and password for CCB click the button below!
