Surprise assembly marks caretaker's 30th anniversary at school

Thomas Willingale School and Nursery caretaker Barbara Yarwood could not believe her eyes when staff and children gathered in the school hall to mark her 30th anniversary at the school.
Children presented specially-made congratulations cards and spoke about their best memories of Mrs Yarwood.
Mrs Yarwood said: "I was so surprised and shocked - I can’t believe I didn’t know anything about this. I thought I was on my way to deal with a 'flood' but was welcomed by all the children shouting 'surprise!'
"I’m so proud to work in a lovely school with excellent staff and wonderful children - I love them all!"
