OE Global Conference 2017

Has concluded!   OEGlobal 2017 featured over 111 sessions (80 presentations; 14 Action labs; 7 Panel discussions; 1 Flipped presentation; and 9 Poster presentations) with delegates coming from 38 countries.

OEC Announces New President for the Board of Directors

The Open Education Consortium welcomes Sophie Touzé as President of the Board of Directors for a two-year term. Sophie Touzé recently served as Vice President of the Board from 2015 to 2017. She is Head Elearning of VetAgro Sup, Veterinarian and Agronomic Institute of Higher Education in France. Vetagro Sup is member of Université de Lyon.

Lakeland Community College Founded in 1967, Lakeland Community College was the first college in Ohio created by a vote of the people. The college serves more than 10,800 credit and 2,800 noncredit students (2016). 

Pierce College Pierce College is a community college district in Washington State. According to the 2016 seven year accreditation report, "during the 2015-16 academic year, Pierce District enrolled 15,957 students (unduplicated count) across all program areas and locations, generating 8,609 full-time equivalent students (FTE). 

Ventura County Community College District  The Ventura County Community College District is a public community college district serving residents in Ventura County.  As of Fall 2016, VCCCD served 31,857 students.  

San Jose City College  San Jose City College is located in the heart of Silicon Valley in California.  From its modest beginnings in 1921, San Jose City College has delivered its educational mission with integrity and vitality; growing into a world class institution enrolling about 20,000 students each year.   
All spring CCCOER webinars are broadcast on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at (10am PT/ 1pm ET) with the exception of March webinars held during Open Education Week 2017 (March 27-31).  Check out the dates for the spring webinars!
