Research Evidence Update

March 2017

The Research Evidence Update has gone monthly!

This update covers grants, funding, training opportunities.
The next one will be in April, covering research news and articles, and journal tables of contents.

Can you offer help with statistics?
Some people have access to help (for example, through a local University, from other members of the research team, or from the sponsor or organiser of the research). But some do not, and the Library wants to compile a list of people willing to help.

People in search of help would contact the Library, and the Library would then forward their enquiry to people on the list.

If you would like to join this list, and receive requests for help, please fill in the form at
http://bit.ly/2jF227j. You can find out a bit more about the scheme there too.

The Library has compiled resource lists about statistics.   They are on our website (Information Resources > Statistics and Research).

This short course will help you not only understand value, both the value for populations from the best allocation and use of resources and individual personal value, but also to apply this to the service in which you work and the population you serve. The course draws on the methods and experience of work done in the NHS England RightCare programme, and on leading edge work in Wales, Scotland and Europe
