1st Sports Engineering Seminar Day
The
1st Sports Engineering Seminar Day is taking place on
29th March at Geoffrey Manton Building, Lecture Theatre 1, MMU, 11.30am - 7pm. This is a
FREE event sponsored by the International Sports Engineering Association (ISEA) and MMU. The seminar day will provide an opportunity
for undergraduates, masters and PhD students to get inspired to look at furthering a career in the sports engineering discipline. You will have the chance to listen to
presentations from industry partners, external guest speakers and academics. Also, PhD students will be sharing their experience and give you an insight of what it is like to do a PhD. The presentations will cover topics from
sports apparel, equipment mechanics, biomechanics and healthcare injury prevention. The event will be a great networking platform and you will be able to learn about upcoming project opportunities. Additionally, you can hear more about the ISEA and their work. You can

Lunch upon arrival and refreshments will be provided.
Any student is welcome to display a poster outside the lecture theatre and encouraged to show their research. You do NOT need to have conclusive results or submit an abstract. Just send us a copy of your poster.
