GATE INSTRUCTIONS: As noted in the posted event instructions, show your 2017 NASA membership card or 2017 Race or TT license at the front gate to get in free. All others will pay a $10 facility fee to VIR. Gates open at 6PM Thursday and are open 24 hours a day after that.
Other Important Event Details:
1. Check the driver's list. Make sure your info is correct and let us know immediately of any changes that need to be made.
2. Mandatory Meetings:
7:45AM: Friday for all Friday participants
7:30AM Saturday for all weekend participants (excluding Hyperdrivers)
7:45AM Sunday (will be announced Saturday afternoon if this mtg is needed)
Please remember that attendance at the All Hands Meetings is required based on NASA CCR's and your absence may result in your loss of track time or starting position.
3. Car numbers
Drivers must use the car number listed on the driver list so please check the list. The numbers must be clearly visible and easy to read.
4. Techistration
Will occur at the tech shed. Scales hours will be posted and mentioned in the drivers meeting.
Thursday: 6:30-8:30PM
Friday: 6:45AM-10AM and on as needed basis until 3PM. Reopen 6:30PM-8:30PM
Saturday: 6:45AM-10AM and on an as needed basis until 3PM.
Sunday: 7:30AM until 10AM and on an as needed basis until 3PM.
5. Text notification system
Any emergency notifications, weather warnings, lost and found, are provided via text. NASA MA will only send you pertinent information. You can opt out at any time. Join this notification system by texting "join nasamidatlantic" to 704-323-7775.
6. Schedule updates are live online when the track goes green on Saturday and Sunday. http://www.nasaracing.net/
If we have delays for any reason, you can see the corrected schedule, and updates are made live. However, always know what group is before yours and listen to announcements as schedule adjustments can be made at any time.
7. Online pre-registration is now closed. Any changes/additions will occur at the track during techistration hours.
