March 22, 2017
I'm off for a week of connection and thinking out loud with my pastor's group.  I already find the time rich as we're wrestling with thinking aloud about resistance: what it means to stand for the values, teachings and priorities of Jesus.  Plus there's also a lot of good food and drink :)

In our conversations and community I'm reflecting on the many ways that we've been experiencing the strength, power and purpose of community in Christ in the past few weeks: at the men's breakfast, on St. Patrick's Day, in our worship this past Sunday as shared by both Gary and David and in our installing and ordaining new elders and deacons.  It's in that mix of lives and life that I find I most often am fed, challenged and blessed by the Holy Spirit.  I hope you've found that living word in our recent communal celebrations and gatherings as well.

Erin Grayson is preaching this Sunday in worship. She has served as an interim pastor in churches along the East Coast, and now looking for a permanent pastoral position here following a move with her family.
