Tendrel Member Spotlight - Sonali Saini
In Mumbai, India, children with special needs often are unable to find the same educational opportunities as other kids. Tendrel member Sonali Saini founded Sol’s Arc to “nurture the innate abilities of children and the youth with special needs through a research based approach of curriculum development, implementation and therapy.” In addition to providing children with an education, Sol’s Arc conducts research to develop new tools and curriculum to address educational gaps due to both disabilities and socio-economic conditions, building momentum to change the education system in India.
Sonali shares that, “in my Tendrel Forum, our members are a mixture of enterprises in different stages, which gives different experiences, and across different sectors. But the experiences we share are always relatable. This is our place for ‘safe space connections.’”
