Providing Interim Housing for Minnesota's Disabled Veterans

Minnesota Veterans Homes play an important role in providing care to aging veterans. Because of the high demand for these homes, veterans are often waitlisted, jeopardizing their care needs. We recently partnered with the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs to study the feasibility of the agency to provide interim housing for disabled Veterans.

Welcome Russell Barnes, Survey Participant Tracker!


Please join us in welcoming our newest team member Russell Barnes, Survey Participant Tracker! Russell is joining our team to assist in implementing the Minnesota Youth in Transition Database (MNYTD) Project.

The goal of MNYTD is to learn more about the lives of youth who have experienced out of home care placement (e.g. foster care) in Minnesota. As part of the MNYTD project, Russell will assist in connecting and staying in touch with more than 500 individuals who are part of the longitudinal survey, which is taken on their 17th, 19th, and 21st birthdays. 

We are thrilled to have Russell join us with his wealth of knowledge and experience connecting with individuals using various media and communication platforms.

The Theater of Public Policy


The Improve Group is sponsoring an upcoming event for The Theater of Public Policy (T2P2). T2P2 advances the understanding of complex ideas and issues by drawing on improvisational comedy. The theater has earned a national reputation for bringing intelligent humor to liven up discussions on a range of issues.
