What's new this week?
I kept my promise! A new post with a stunning landscape transformation is freshly pressed just this morning. I'm excited to show off Coach's and my hard work on our creek bank in my new post, Landscape Spring Clean Up at Big Creek.
Ok, so the before pic was in summer and the after in winter, but it's still obvious how much work had to be done to clear that space. Definitely click the link above to see the whole transformation, including our new landscape design and a DIY outdoor furniture project!
Coach and I have so much fun working on projects like this together. We're so thankful for this land that we live on and the ever-gorgeous Big Creek that flows practically in our front yard. Even while we spent the weekend gazing out at the lake at Fall Creek Falls last weekend, we gave thanks that we get to live on the water.
Fall Creek Falls? Yeah, that was AMAZING!
If you've never been, GO. I don't care how far away you live (lucky us...only a couple of hours), it's more than worth the trip. We learned that Fall Creek Falls is the highest waterfall East of the Rocky Mountains, even higher than Niagra Falls!
I'll be writing an entire post about that trip, so I won't give it all away today. I had to share a couple of shots with you guys, though, and since I've already shared these on Instagram, I thought I'd poke them in here for you.
This is Cane Creek Falls, which is also located in the Fall Creek Falls State Park. Isn't it stunning? I highly recommend you planning a summer trip to this gorgeous state park in Tennessee!
