A couple years back, I was very excited to try the KonMari Method which promised that once the method was implemented, you will never have to declutter again. Inspired by this, I went through my wardrobe, and within 24 hours, I sorted out all the items that sparked joy and packed up the items that no longer had a meaningful purpose in my home for the donation bin. I carefully folded my clothes the KonMari way and organized them in my drawers and closets by type, color and length.

"This year, I am starting to do my annual Spring cleaning again and I found myself asking,“Did the KonMari Method hold true to its promises?”"
|
|
There were many benefits I enjoyed with the KonMari Method. I loved seeing the full inventory of my clothes... However, it was not always easy to implement the one item in, one item out rule as the items I kept all sparked joy. I found myself stacking my clothes again due to lack of space.

Master Julie makes tea a part of her daily ritual:
"Carefully preparing a morning tea ceremony awakens the body and mind. Some say that we can see the clouds in the tea. All of nature is connected and reflected within the bowl."
As I take a sip, the clouds in my mind from a night of slumber part; and through my third eye, the sun shines brightly. I am ready to be one with the universe. It is with this mindset that I teach feng shui. We are learning to cultivate a balanced and harmonious relationship with all the energies around us. Matcha (powdered green tea) offers many health benefits, rejuvenating our bodies with antioxidants as we partake in a moment of mindfulness.

The Liu Masters share a painting by their father, Chi-Jen Liu, to bring you an uplifting message for 2017, the Year of the Rooster.
He says, "The rooster is an early bird who works hard. There are three kinds of early birds in this art. The first kind stands on the antique stone, which means to be born with talent and a mission. The second kind stands on the long stone, which means high-reaching achievement and ancestral pride. And the third kind stands on the pine tree, which means longevity. These roosters symbolize blessings of prosperity."
