A few days in the Scottish Highlands
A career in shipping has many perks - one of them is the opportunity to travel and meet with clients many places in the world. In january, the Tuco sales team had the pleasure of spending a few days on the West coast of Scotland visiting clients in the Aquaculture business.
The trip took us from Edinburgh to Oban, from Oban to Portree and from then on north of Ullapool before heading back to Edinburgh by way of Fort Williams. Many hours spent in the car enjoying the scenery and a lot of interesting and constructive meetings with our clients.
Not only did we meet some very professional people, but also gained knowledge of their daily work procedures. This interaction brought about a productive dialogue which led to preliminary negotiations for future collaborations.
Our Scottish expedition also kicked off a development for a fast transfer boat which we expect to reveal in the near future.

Happily, we were also able to meet with some very interesting representatives, and we expect to establish local representation within the coming months.

Altogether a very informative and productive trip

New high-pressure cleaning boats and dealer visit
Tuco recently had the pleasure of welcoming our Norwegian representatives on the fish farming market, Mr. Arild Friestad and Mr. Kjetil Nygård from Boat and Barge.
The visit at the Tuco marine facilities included a tour of inspection of the two new high-pressure cleaning boats commissioned bo Boat and Barge for their client Akva Marine Service AS.
The boats are currently in the assembly hall for technical and interior fitting.
"It was a pleasure to see the boats and the high-quality craftsmanship of Tuco Marine", says Mr. Arild Friestad and continues: "These boats are truly specialized and will offer their owners optimized operational capabilities due to the high speeds and dedicated layouts that will raise the efficiency of the services performed from the boats."
