Key Stage 3 'Speak Out' Challenge
King Harold Academy students Rees McKendrick (Year 7) and Isabella Wilson (Year 8) are the winners of the school's Key Stage 3 'Speak Out' Challenge.
Every student in Year 7 and Year 8 took part in the ‘Speak Out’ challenge as part of their English lessons.
They had to prepare a persuasive speech for a topic they felt passionately about.
Each class chose two representatives to go head-to-head against the other classes in their year groups.
The two finalists from each year group took part in the final in front of their entire year group when they were judged by a panel of staff.
The students were praised for having an array of talent, confidence and passion.
