WE NEED YOU – CONTACT the House Judiciary Committee Members Today!
 
 
The ADA Education and Reform Act of 2017 (H.R. 620) – sponsored by Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX) & Rep. Scott Peters (D-CA) is coming up for Markup in Judiciary Committee!
We have been asked by House members both Republicans and Democrats:  –
“Where is the disability community? We have NOT heard from them!”
All they hear from is the business community who is on the Hill everyday!
 
They are making contact with the Hill daily! 
We are making little contact with the Hill!
*Staff have told me this directly!
 
The ADA Education and Reform Act of 2017 (H.R. 620):
It requires a person with a disability to give a business owner who has barriers to access a written notice, and 60 days to even acknowledge that there is a problem—and then another 120 days to begin to fix it. No other civil rights group is forced to wait 180 days to enforce their civil rights.

House Judiciary Committee Members – see their contact information attached – email, Tweet, FaceBook, call them and tell them “Don’t Tread on my ADA!”  Tell them to Oppose H.R. 620 because it weakens the ADA and puts the burden on people with disabilities!
