 The Difference You Are Making 
Preparing young children to be school ready

Through your donations, Ardoch Youth Foundation is supporting children’s literacy, language and learning development in the early years to help them to improve school readiness, supporting their transition into primary school.

A $30,000 grant from the Give Where You Live Foundation is enabling Ardoch Youth Foundation to improve young children’s school readiness through targeted resources and learning opportunities for families and mobilise skilled volunteers to build young children’s capacity for learning.

Arts as a bridge to education and inclusion

Thanks to your donations, Somebody’s Daughter Theatre are improving the educational outcomes of young school refusers.

A $30,000 grant from the Give Where You Live Foundation allows Somebody’s Daughter Theatre to work in partnership with Courthouse Youth Arts, Newcomb Secondary College and Barwon Child, Youth & Family to conduct a series of arts-based workshops, targeting disconnected and marginalised young people referred by schools and agencies.
