Would you be mine? Could you be mine? Please won't you be my neighbor? Many of us remember afternoons spent in Mister Rogers' neighborhood. We waited for packages from Speedy Delivery and visits by Trolley with King Friday. Simpler days, yet the question is the same and predates our friend in the cardigan sweater. Jesus asked, "Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man...The one who showed him mercy...You go, and do likewise.” As Christ-followers, we're called to be neighbors who share the radical mercy of the Gospel. Doing so is often inconvenient, cross-cultural, and sacrificial. This is the heart of Oak Tree Ministries - being neighbors who show mercy, love deeply, give sacrificially, and share urgently the Gospel with our neighbors in Marks Village. It is a beautiful day in this neighborhood. A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Won't you be our neighbor?

MANY THANKS TO MANY NEIGHBORS!
You answered the call in December and January to meet the needs necessitated by end-of-the-year events and renovation of our new home - The Treehouse. You showed up with paint brushes in hand. You gave toys and bought coats for neighborhood children. You gave an in-ground basketball goal and fixtures needed to complete renovations and ready the grounds. You reupholstered furniture and contributed items needed by our neighbors. You GAVE! We are GRATEFUL! We can't begin to list all who deserve our thanks - BUT YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, and you have our heartfelt gratitude! Thank you, neighbor!

MORE READING! MORE NEIGHBORS!
God's gift of The Treehouse opens doors for us to love our neighbors even more. We're doing just that by expanding our Reading Club to two afternoons a week beginning April 6th. Will you join our Reading Club family as a Reading Buddy on Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoons from 2:30 until 5:30? No experience needed, just a desire to share the love of reading with our neighborhood kids. The next Reading Buddy training is March 30th at The Treehouse. Contact Halie Kawell for more information.

LOVELY LADIES! LOVELY NEIGHBORS!
Our cup runs over with the sweet blessings of knowing our neighbors. Our Women's Fellowship grows weekly. We engage women from the village in God's Word, outings to conferences, job placement, fellowship, and more. This ministry is a beautiful testimony to OTM's path from relief to restoration to rehabilitation through neighborly relationships founded in the truth and mercy of Jesus. Next month neighbors embark on a journey toward financial responsibility in partnership with Regions Bank. If your heart is for the hearts of women, join us HERE.

Be neighbors with us on Sunday afternoons from 2:30 - 5:30 & join 25 other volunteers who are investing eternally in kids from hard places in hopes they will know the joy of eternity in a heavenly place.
