Welcome to the March edition of the PolicyBristol PolicyScan.
The subject of ' In Focus' this month is Air Quality. MP's from four select committees have combined forces to launch an unprecedented joint inquiry on air quality to scrutinise cross-government plans to tackle urban pollution hotspots. The Environment Food and Rural Affairs, Environmental Audit Committee, Health, and Transport Committees will hold four evidence sessions.
If you would like to write a piece for the PolicyBristol blog on air quality (or another subject), or would like to provide evidence to the air quality inquiry then please contact us, several Bristol researchers have been contacted already for a joint submission to the committees.
The PolicyScan highlights current opportunities to engage with policy-making. To fit in with our university-wide focus the PolicyScan themes have changed, they are now: Children and Families; Culture; Defence; Economy and Financial Services; Education; Energy and Utilities; Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs; Foreign Affairs; Health; Home Affairs, Legal and Equalities; Labour Market; Local Government and Devolution; Planning and Housing; Transport; EU; and Bristol.
It may be easier to view all these sections in your browser.
The PolicyScan's full listing of consultations, inquiries, and legislation will now be published only in the PolicyBristol Intranet as a service for Bristol University staff.
If you have any comments on this PolicyScan we'd love to hear from you.
