Ellen will be on medical leave beginning Monday, April 10th but promises to return healthier than ever with superhero powers and a bionic hip. We wish Ellen a speedy recovery and look forward to her return on Saturday, May 6th!

Josh and Brent will be working an amended schedule from Monday April 10th - Friday, May 5th. Please note the adjusted schedule for these weeks as detailed below!

Arizona Gives Day - April 4th!

Tucson Acupuncture Coop will be joining Arizona Gives Day, along with hundreds of other nonprofits from all over the state on Tuesday, April 4, to raise much-needed funds. Through azgives.org, Arizonans will be able to support their favorite nonprofit(s) for exactly 24 hours of virtual giving to strive for additional cash incentive prizes.

From 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on April 4, supporters of Tucson Acupuncture Co-op can go to azgives.org and select Backyard Healthcare Project to make a direct contribution. These donations are crucial to helping fund our local efforts throughout the year. You can also pre-schedule your donation using the azgives.org website prior to April 4th.

Arizona Gives Day is a grassroots, statewide single day of giving that invites Arizonans to find their favorite causes at azgives.org on April 4, 2017, and donate day-of or schedule their donations in advance. Hosted by the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and Arizona Grantmakers Forum and presented by FirstBank, Arizona Gives Day has raised $7.4 million for Arizona nonprofits since its founding in 2013.

As Tucson's only non-profit community acupuncture clinic we dedicate ourselves to the mission of providing affordable, accessible, and easy-to-use healthcare options for everyone in our community through acupuncture and herbal medicine.

We thank each and every one of our valued patients for their support and patronage; we could not fulfill our mission without your continued support!

We also encourage all Arizona residents to consider showing your support by donating your Arizona Charitable Tax Credit to the Backyard Healthcare Project. Arizona's Charitable Tax Credit allow you to support Tucson Acupuncture Co-op at no cost to you!

Backyard Healthcare Project (our non-profit) is an approved Qualifying Charitable Organization by the
AZ State Department of Revenue.
If you're submitting a tax return to the state of AZ, you can donate some of that money to us instead -- at no cost to you! You get your money back dollar-for-dollar from the state as long as your tax liability meets or exceeds the amount you donate. Any money donated on top of your liability can also be carried over to next year as well!

1. The maximum limits have increased this year -- you can now donate up to $400 if you file as single, head of household, and married filing separately, up to $800 if you file married jointly.

2. Report "Backyard Healthcare Project" and the amount donated on Form 321 with your AZ state taxes.

3. Donate! We accept checks, credit cards, and cash at the clinic, or you can donate securely on our website through Paypal. Either way you will receive an official receipt. Donations need to be made by April 15, 2017 to be eligible.
