Resort Update

Conditions-Killington
8:30 am 03/31/17--After a balmy, bluebird Thursday that had us daydreaming about spring, winter is about to stage a comeback in the form of an April fool's snowstorm. We expect the flakes to fall through Saturday afternoon, adding up to a foot or more of fresh weekend snow.

Warm, soft snow on Thursday firmed up overnight, causing some temporary closures, but steadily falling snow in our forecast for the next two days should nudge the trail count up. Overnight, our grooming team combed fresh corduroy into 76 trails, including most of the easier and intermediate ones plus a few steep expert choices, most notably, the legendary Outer Limits.
Be sure to check the Resort Services Report regularly to see which Base Lodges and attractions are scheduled.  Sunday April 2 will be the final operating day for Skyeship Base Lodge and Ramshead Lodge, but don’t worry Ramshead Express will continue to spin thru April 9.

Conditions – Pico
03/31/17 With warm air softening snow surfaces on Thursday, Pico patrol opened a slew of additional trails and Friday's snowfall could grow the trail count even more. Pico groomers were out ahead of the storm to flatten and smooth 15 trails, plus the 12 features of the Gold Rush Terrain Park.

Pico will be closed mid-week April 3-7 and will reopen for one last bonus weekend, Saturday April 8 and Sunday April 9.  Pico Season Pass holders will be eligible for 50% off lift tickets at Killington April 3-7 by presenting their pass at a ticket window.  The discounted ticket is for the season pass holder only.

Mogul Camp with Donna – April 1-2
Let World Champion and Olympic gold medalist Donna Weinbrecht's years of experience training and competing on Outer Limits guide you to a successful BMMC. Open to men and women ages 18 and up.

2017-18 Killington Season Passes
We streamlined the selection and lowered prices, but kept the benefits that make Killington Passes such a great value, including access to the longest season in the East. 2017-18 Adult Unlimited Season Passes are just $899 through June 15, a savings of $240 over last year’s best price on Killington Adult Unlimited Passes.

Get the details on all 2017-18 Season Passes, and learn more about the M.A.X. Pass Add-On, which lets you add 5 days at up to 42 additional resorts, now just $399 for adults and available with Killington Unlimited, Midweek and 4.0 The College Passes.

Weekly Tip: "Communicate: Early, Often and Clearly. Communication goes hand-in-hand with people skills. Leaders are able to sharpen their people skills when they foster open dialog, are clear in expressing their expectations and spend as much time listening as they do talking. It is one of the soft skills whose importance is frequently underestimated." Click below to read more.
