MARK YOUR CALENDARS
Please join us following worship on Sunday, April 9th from 1-7PM as we head over to St Mark United Methodist Church for a planning retreat. We will take this time to discuss the results from the surveys and use this information to help us plan for the 2017-2018 academic year. If you feel called to leadership at the Wesley Foundation, this is a great opportunity to dip your toes and explore what that might be like. Lunch will be provided.
Join us on Thursday, April 13th at 7:30PM for a time of worship and meditation where we will reflect on Christ's finals days, his crucifixion, and how all of the events of that week affect us today. This service is a way for us to commemorate the end of the Lenten season and prepare ourselves for the coming of Easter. As part of our meditation together, we will share a meal just as the disciples did with Jesus during the Passover on the night that he was eventually betrayed and arrested. All are welcome!
On Tuesday, April 18th and Sunday, April 23rd, we will be having a very special visit from North Georgia's Commission on Higher Education who provides a significant amount of our funding. We strongly encourage everyone to attend these worship services and make them a high priority on your calendars so that the commission will have an opportunity to meet as many students as possible to better understand who we are and how we represent the UMC on GT's campus.
