Auburn Baseball coming to College Station

The Auburn Baseball team is headed to our neck of the woods! The team will be playing a series in College Station April 7th - 9th. GHAC has teamed up with other Texas clubs and we will be attending the game on Saturday, April 8th (first pitch is 2 p.m.). We are working on trying to get group tickets.

After a successful basketball Tiger Walk earlier this year we will once again be hosting a Tiger Walk at the team's hotel at 10:30 a.m. Stay tuned to our Facebook event for more details!

New Watch Party Location Announced!

We have an exciting AUnnouncement!! We have officially selected our watch party home for the Fall! Drumroll please... we will be cheering on our Auburn Tigers at Junction Bar & Grill! Junction has a great central location (Midtown), amazing watch party atmosphere with plenty of TVs, and a parking lot (hooray!). The owners and managers at Junction have been wonderful to work with, and we are excited to call it home come this Fall! Thanks to everyone who came out for the Pub Crawl to help us make a decision, and a special thanks to our Watch Party Committee who worked hard to find us a new home: Matt Richter, Eric Swaim, J. Tribble, Jake Hoffman, Neil Bedekar, and Anne Hopton-Jones.

Thanks to The Rustic Brush and all our Paint Party Participants!
We had a great time Sunday at The Rustic Brush painting individual pieces (both Auburn and non-Auburn). Everyone went home with a beautiful piece! The Rustic Brush graciously donated 15% of their proceeds to our scholarship, and then turned around and matched that! We look forward to visiting again!

Auburn alum needs White Blood Cell Donation

Houston alums, we have a fellow alum who needs your help. Richard Parker ('81) is currently at MD Anderson battling leukemia and is in need of white blood cell donations for a transfusion. He currently is fighting a fungal infection (common in cancer patients), which he needs to fight before moving forward with the leukemia treatment. Please read the attached documents for more information and we hope the Auburn family will pull through for Richard. You can get more details here.

Celebrating 125 Years of Auburn Women

This is the 125th Anniversary of Women at Auburn and the University is doing a lot to celebrate! Women have come a long way since 1892 and we’re celebrating all of it: the pioneers who broke boundaries and opened doors for others; the brilliant stars who transcended negativity and propriety to shine around the world; the doers and dreamers who knew that this practical world runs on work, hard work. Join us for a year of celebration and appreciation for all that our alumnae have done and continue to do through Auburn University.

Right now, we are collecting stories of Women at Auburn. To check out some of the stories already submitted and to submit yours, visit http://www.alumni.auburn.edu/women/.
