We're Rocking & Rolling with AKA
We welcome the lovely ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. to Cleveland, Ohio for their 86th Great Lakes Regional Conference this week. The Cleveland Council of Black Colleges Alumni Association will be honored during the Public Meeting on Friday, April 7, 2017 for our continued service to our community in the area of Educational Enrichment. We salute the members of Alpha Omega, Lambda Phi Omega, and Omega Chapters for your continued support to our annual HBCU College Fair and the UNCF Walk/Run for Education. It is through relationships such as yours that allows the Council to advance the mission of providing students and parents with valuable information on options and opportunities beyond high school. We look to other areas in how we can continue the work that uplifts the programs of service through the sorority's signature youth enrichment program, ASCEND, the Think HBCU national initiative and the  One Million Backpacks campaign.

We invite all HBCU graduates and supporters to join us in this special recognition of achievement.

This quick and easy read self-help book is a collection of college crossroads experiences, from a diverse group of current and former students, where they were forced to make in-the-moment consequential decisions. Their choices resulted in harsh consequences, being saved by grace, or creating a new ending to their story.

Written and arranged by Hampton alum, Cecil Johnson. Cecil is a connector. A connector of concepts, ideas, and most importantly, people. He is known for his creative approach to storytelling that inspires self-reflection and allows for personal discovery.
Thanks to his classmate and Council Corresponding Secretary, Laura Williams, 2017 graduating seniors that participated in the Destination HBCU Symposium or the upcoming Freshman Send-off will receive a copy (while supplies last).
