This Saturday: Community Visioning!

Clarion is participating in the 2017 Community Visioning Program. ISU will be gathering information from community members to gage opinions on how to improve our community's landscape through transportation enhancements, with the ending goal to develop a plan that illustrates the vision of Clarion. Your input is important and appreciated!

Join a focus group THIS SATURDAY APRIL 1ST at the Clarion Public Library.
9:00am - Older adults
10:00am - Mobility impaired / active adults
11:00am - Parents and youth
12:00pm Visioning Steering Committee
2:30pm - Conclusion - ALL ARE WELCOME!

RESCHEDULED:
First Citizens Bank in Clarion is offering free blood pressure checks THIS Friday, March 31st from 10-12 am in the bank boardroom by volunteers from the Clarion EMS. Open to the public!

Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Cardiac Rehab Department is encouraging everyone to participate in National Walking Day on April 5th. They are organizing a walk in Clarion from 11:30 am until noon, starting at the ER lobby and making a lap around the hospital. If you are unable to attend, take 30 minutes to walk on your own. Take a step towards a healthier YOU!

There are three proposed city ordinances regarding junk/junk vehicles; parking regulations; and driveway regulations that will be up for readings & discussion at upcoming City Council meetings (April 3rd & 17th). Feel free to attend in support! City Council meets the first and third Monday of each month at 5pm at City Hall.

LifeServe of Iowa will be at the Clarion United Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, April 4th from 1-6pm for a blood drive. Walk-ins welcome!

'Comfort Coffee'

Join Gateway Hospice on Friday, April 7th from 10-11am for a cup of coffee! These events are open to anyone who has experienced loss or difficulty with grief and are searching for a little comfort. Gateway Hospice is located at 103 2nd Ave NE.

There is availability in the Meadows Assisted and Independent Living. Call Carla Kem at 515-532-9332 for a tour or more information.
