The African Diaspora in Action

The ADIS 2017 participants and speakers gave us invaluable insight on what they wish to see in the next symposium.  They tasked us with new ideas and generously shared their aspirations on how ADN can be a key convener of Africans and friends of Africa from around the world.  We are most appreciative for their support.

Our focus now is on strengthening our infrastructure, develop a more robust website with access to member services and benefits.  We will also convene small groups of entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, NGOs, and educators leading up to ADIS 2018.  Please let us know if you wish to host a small convening in your city/town.

ADIS2017 Testimonials

“This was my first time attending ADIS and it was by far one of the best conferences on the African Diaspora and the Continent that I have been to; even better than those that I have attended in country! I was made aware of organizations that I did not know existed, learned insights and lessons, and hope to turn introductions at ADIS into fruitful partnerships.”
Jenna M. O’Brien, Project Manager, Social Enterprise & Research, IDP Foundation, Inc.
"In 2017, I attended ADIS for the first time. As an Afro-European based in Paris, I was delighted to discover so much enthusiasm and desire for doing business in Africa. ADIS offers the best return on investment for an African Conference attendee and ADIS 2018 is already on my agenda!"
Ammin Youssouf, CEO & Impact Technologist, Afrobytes
