<<First Name>>, welcome to our latest newsletter. Like many European cities, Bologna wants to get more people walking and cycling instead of using cars. A team at SRM, Bologna's local transport authority, asked BetterPoints to see if incentives will help change people’s behaviour, and to build a common barcode standard into our app so it's easy for people to spend their points with retailers at the point of sale. This means SRM can partner with some really desirable local brands. The programme launched yesterday, and more than 10,000 people have signed up for it already. And this is replicable. With dedication and the right tools, such interventions can motivate positive changes in behaviour, whatever and wherever it is.
