We will be purchasing plants soon, but we need a few more volunteers to adopt a bump garden along 5th Street SE!
What's involved?

Preliminary agenda includes a presentation by Minneapolis Public Works about the future of University Avenue SE and 4th Street SE: Will there be a protected bike lane on both of them? On one of them? How will any changes affect the neighborhood?
We have also invited Inspector Todd Loining of the Minneapolis Police Department's 2nd Precinct. Inspector Loining with discuss current issues in Marcy-Holmes and address any questions you may have.

Enter the Pillsbury A-Mill along Main Street SE, on the right side of the building. There is metered parking on Main Street SE and nearby 3rd Avenue SE.

MHNA meetings are open to the public and handicap accessible. If you need any special accommodation or ADA related accommodation (sign language interpreter for example) contact the MHNA office 5 business days in advance of the meeting.

Southeast Library: Spring Used Book Sale

Saturday, April 1, 9 am - 4 pm
All funds from the sale will benefit the Southeast Library
- A bag sale will take place between 3 - 4 pm!
- Sale purchases can be made by cash or check (with photo ID) — credit and debit card cannot be accepted
- There are discounts for volume purchases—the more you purchase, the more you save.
- Most books will be priced $2 for hardcovers and $1 for paperback
- All sale items were either withdrawn from the Hennepin County Library System or donated by the public
- The library accepts book donations that are in gently-used condition

Eligible properties under MHNA’s home improvement loan program include owner-occupied and non-owner occupied properties (no larger than 4 units); all properties must be located with the geographic boundaries of the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood. Town homes and condominiums are not eligible.
Property owners can apply for loans ranging between $4000 and $20,000. The best news of all? Regardless of total amount, all loans have an Interest Rate of 0%! There are no income restrictions!
