Advocates are Inspired and Fired up at Wolf Day

View this email in your browser
Dear wolf advocate
It was a great day of positive action for the wolf in Minnesota when over 200 supporters howled loudly and proudly during Wolf Day 2017: Keep the Pack Intact at the State Capitol.  Legislators met with their constituents who urged them to protect the wolf for future generations by supporting wolf friendly legislation.
You can watch the video of our rally where farmer Mary Falk describes her wildlife-farm environment which includes vital work of guard dogs. Robert Shimek speaks about the wolf in his Native American culture which mesmerized the audience. Gathering for the wolf gave us all a boost of energy and lightened our spirit.

All Minnesotan residents are needed to help the wolf now while state lawmakers are deciding which bills to support.  You can now email your state senator, representative and Governor Dayton from our website’s Take Action page . The message is customizable and easily identifies your state legislators based on your address.

If you are a lucky constituents who met with your lawmaker, go ahead and write them a follow up email.  Our top priorities are funding nonlethal preventive methods for livestock conflicts and banning all wildlife snaring.  Our state legislative priorities and specific bills are listed and easy to follow.  Take action today.

We will continue to work to keep the wolf protected at the federal level while we push for more wolf tolerant laws in Minnesota.

Thank you for your action and voice for the wolf!
