March headlines

Thank you Wilmot!
In case you haven’t heard, voters at the Wilmot Town Meeting in March approved the WCA’s request for $4,500. Thanks to your support, the WCA can continue to provide free programs and bring neighbors together at the Red Barn and Timothy Patten Park. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Senior lunch takes a break
Held on March 16, the final senior lunch of the season was a great success. The Kearsarge Regional High School Chorus took center stage to serenade the group. Many thanks to our partners, the Wilmot Ladies Aid Society and the Community Action Program of Belknap and Merrimack counties, for their dedication and hard work. Have a great spring and summer. The fall lunch season starts on Thursday, October 19.

Pancake heaven!
The WCA was back in the breakfast business on Sunday morning, March 19. The WCA has a long tradition of Sunday breakfasts but it had been a while. A steady flow of hungry pancake lovers passed through the Red Barn. The WCA is indebted to the many volunteers who gave their time and talents to make the breakfast a success. Heaps of applause goes to the chief cooks and bottle washers, Rachel Seamans and Amber Gove. [More including a list of our fabulous volunteers!]

Join the WCA team
The WCA operates with a vibrant and dedicated group of volunteers. We are currently looking for volunteers to help with the Membership Drive, David White Memorial Health & Wellness Series and the Black Fly Blitz. Why not share your talents? Give as little or as much time as you can. High school and middle school students - if you need community service hours ... we need you for the Spring Cleanup in early May. Email WCA President Nancy Large to learn more about the WCA, its goals, programs and volunteer opportunities.
