Okay, technically, this wouldn't be my first book. I've written a few books and scripts over the years that have never been published, and still others that I've never finished. This one currently falls in the "unfinished" category, but it is my desire to get it both finished and published. The book is currently titled, "CMV Bible Devotionals", and when completed should contain over 250 devotional segments that I originally wrote for our television series, "Christian Music Videos". Back in July 2013, we began integrating the use of a teleprompter to improve the quality of devotional segments within CMV episodes. That facilitated the need for scripted devotionals. These written segments were designed to challenge and encourage viewers while using biblical scripture as the driving focus, and I believe that they will translate well to the written page.

The reason for the book is to hopefully reach those who may not know of, or have never watched, the television show but may be open to reading the segments in written form. I also hope to reformat some of our video devotionals for an audio podcast series to be released through iTunes. Both the book and the podcast I hope to release this fall.  

Last month I added 3 new video clips to our CMV at WMU webpage. This page specifically highlights our efforts to reach out to the Western Michigan University community. The video clips were designed to promote the Christian student organization, International Student Fellowship and are airing in episodes of CMV that appear exclusively on EduCABLE - the campus cable network. Students who watch these promos are invited to attend ISF's weekly lunch gathering where they can meet other international students, practice honing their English speaking skills, enjoy a home-cooked meal, and learn about bible study and other opportunities.
