Spring Updates

Spring is finally here! Cooking classes, Infrared sauna, and new providers!

A note from Dr. Morris

In the interest of establishing a healthy work life balance I will be no longer be providing massage services. I want you to know that I have really enjoyed working with you as massage therapist and I can't wait to continue working with you as a Naturopathic Doctor.

  • We have several great therapists on staff.
  • Our therapists have greater availability than I do, so it will be easier to get in to see them.
  • At the beginning of April I will stop doing massage appointments.
  • I will be transitioning all of my patients to therapists who I think would be the best fit for them. However, you are always welcome to schedule with any therapist available.

Thank you for always being so amazing!

In addition to our 3 existing massage therapists we have added 2 new faces to Rain City Integrative Clinic!

Knife Cuts 101:
Do you find the phrase julienne or small dice daunting? Does the thought of cutting an onion into anything that resembles uniformity put fear in your heart? Don’t let precise cuts come between you and a tasty meal. In this class we will learn what these cuts mean, and even more importantly, how to cut things that actually look like them. We will learn to julienne, what different dices mean, how to debone a chicken, and several other cutting and cooking methods. Then we will turn all of our fine cuts into a meal and learn how to make basic stir fry. A very simple technique that can have dinner on the table in no time. BYO Apron

A Spring Vegetable or Two:
Spring is a time of green and growth. Two of the first vegetables to appear in the market are asparagus and artichokes. These veggies best display their tastiness with delicate treatment and flavores. Come learn the different ways to prepare them, and why you shouldn't be afraid of the choke.  BYO Apron.

Beef 101:
Beef, versitile, tasty, and the backbone to many dishes. You can cook beef virtually any way, so lets talk about them, then practice a couple ways to create tasty dishes to enjoy together. Bring your questions and an apron.

Trail Mix:
Each month learn how to make a wholesome meal or snacks in 30 minutes or less. This month we’ll be learning how to make various kinds of trail mix. Love hiking but hate how expensive snacks are for it? Trail mix can be a great way to get some energy and key pushing onwards. Come learn to make it, and how easy it is to adapt to your own palatte or food sensitivies. BYO questions and Apron.

New Infrared Sauna!
It will be available for patient use the second week of April.
Please contact the office with questions.
