The EFTA Athens Conference 2016 contained many successful workshops and symposia, I am writing to you about a development from one of them: The symposium on Information Communication Technology, which addressed issues of clients’ use of ICT and the use of communication technology in clinical practice, training, and supervision.
Following the Athens conference, the symposium organizers (Maria Borcsa and Valeria Pomini) have gained outline approval for a special issue on ICTs in the Journal
Contemporary Family Therapy. For the next stage of the project, they are asking for our assistance.
A research team, composed by Maria Borcsa, Valeria Pomini, Fabienne Dardenne and myself, has constructed the
Mental Health Professionals’ Information Communication Technologies Use Questionnaire (MHIUQ) to study the use of ICTs by systemic / family therapists and other mental health professionals. The EFTA research committee has approved this initiative.
I invite you to complete MHIUQ – the project shall give us insight in our changing professional life through digital media. The results will be published on the EFTA website.
I am attaching the link to the survey here:

Please submit it by
15th of April.
The questionnaire is rigorously anonymous. In case you are interested to further information, please contact:
