Rome - Culture and History

One of my favorite cities in Italy is Rome, I loved the history, architecture, culture, food, wine and especially people watching. After spending 4 action-packed days there, I realized I could have easily spent more to fully explore everything Rome had to offer.

Rome is a magical place full of history and culture.   If you are anything like me, you will be in awe exploring some of the most magnificent architectural structures in the world.  Cobblestone streets, impressive buildings and art, centuries of history and delicious food all make Rome an exciting and popular vacation destination.  With so many landmarks and points of interest, it can be difficult to know where to start.  I have put together a list of some of my favorite must-see places to visit while you are in Rome.   Visit my blog to read on.

Quick International Travel Tip

When checking into an international hotel, always take a copy of the Hotel's business card or a pamphlet from the front desk.  This way if you get lost and need to find your way back, you have the hotel name and address. This is particularly helpful if you are visiting a country that is not predominantly English speaking.  Having a card or pamphlet, in a local language, to show locals or cab driver can be a lifesaver!
