Wellness Days @Columbia
Wellness Days @Columbia are for coming together to raise awareness, support each other, and relax and unwind. They are a joint effort of students, faculty, and staff and are part of an ongoing focus on mental health, wellness, and community citizenship at Columbia.
Starting April 10, there will be multiple opportunities to engage: Participate in Mental Health Rounds, a bystander intervention workshop, April 10; attend “Awakening our Democracy: The Politics of Mental Health” on April 12; create a journal, meditate, or practice yoga with the Center for Student Wellness on April 13; and join a community walk for suicide prevention on April 15. Updates about Morningside events will be available on the Office of University Life page, and CUMC events will be listed in the Center for Student Wellness’s weekly newsletter.
These activities are primarily intended for students, but faculty and staff will be welcome at certain events.
