How do you like the drizzles and storms?

The other day, on my way to pick-up plants to bring to Go Wild Grow Wild this weekend, I had to actually pull off the road to look at some of the most amazing clouds I'd ever seen. After staring slack-jawed for awhile, I tried to take a picture (but was later informed my device didn't have a camera! haha). There were all these swirling gray undulations that reminded me of waveforms. Pulses of clouds moving at different rates and in the full spectrum from dark grey nearly to white.

But not everything is grey these days. A few of the trees I picked up were Cornelian Cherries, and they were blooming already. The picture above gives you an idea of what their super hardy blossoms look like. Their fruit is sour cherry-like, though they are actually in the dogwood family. They are yet another reason I started the nursery. The ones that we carry, unlike the ones sold in the ornamental market, have much larger fruit, which was developed originally in the Ukraine.

So - what is Go Wild Grow Wild? you might be thinking (unless you already know). It's a great event happening TODAY at the Western Fair Grounds in London this Saturday. It's always great fun to see nature-lovers, adventurers, and gardeners (and more) come together for a massive event. Open House

We've decided to once again have an Open House for the nursery on our pick-up day. We'll have a wide-variety of plants available for sale, though not our whole catalog - for that, you have to order by April 23rd - and that's coming up really soon.
